The Full Deck Setup Instructions

1. Unboxing & Physical Assembly

Handling:

  • Handle all units by their frames. Avoid direct pressure on the screen glass.

Connecting the Display Units:
The Full Deck consists of two main display units (PFD and ECAM) that connect together using integrated magnets.

  1. Align the two units.
  2. Snap them together — they'll securely hold via magnetic coupling.
  3. The instrument lighting panel will be positioned on the left side of the assembly.

2. Installing the Display Mounts

⚠️ Important: The Full Deck requires both WinCtrl EFIS and FCU units to function properly. Ensure you have both before proceeding.

Your Full Deck comes with two mounts — one for the EFIS display and one for the FCU display. Each mount has a vertical support arm labeled with directional arrows that should point toward you (the user).

Mount Positioning:

  • EFIS Mount: Position the vertical support arm on the far left.
  • FCU Mount: Position the vertical support arm on the far right.

Attaching the Mounts:

  1. Align each mount's attachment points with the top surface of the corresponding display unit.
  2. Insert the Allen bolts and key from Bag (1) — use 2 bolts per mount.
  3. Secure both mounts to the display units.

Connecting the WinCtrl Units:
Once the mounts are installed:

  1. Position your pre-configured WinCtrl EFIS and FCU units on the mounts.
  2. Use the larger bolts from Bag (2) to secure the WinCtrl units to the side connectors of the mounts.
  3. Do not over-tighten — hand-tight is sufficient. Over-tightening may damage the connectors.

3. Cable Connections

⚠️ Recommended: Complete all wiring before installing the mounts for easier access.

Each display unit includes:

  • 1 × HDMI cable (Power and Video)
  • 1 × USB-C cable (Power)

Each cable has:

  • One end at a 90° angle — this plugs into the rear of the display unit.
  • One straight end — this connects to your PC or power supply.

Wiring Steps:

  1. Plug the 90° angled ends into the corresponding ports on the rear of your display units (PFD and ECAM).
  2. Route the straight ends to your PC:

HDMI cable → video input on your PC
USB-C cable → powered USB port on your PC or external power supply

  3. The WinCtrl units are pre-configured and self-explanatory — they will have their own connections already established.

4. Windows Configuration

Once plugged in, Windows will automatically detect the new displays as standard monitors.

  1. Right-click your Desktop and select Display Settings.
  2. Locate the new displays — you should see both the PFD and ECAM units listed.
  3. Set Orientation to "Landscape" for both displays.
  4. Set Scale and Layout to 100% for both displays. (Higher scaling will make flight instruments appear blurry or cut off).
  5. Position the displays in the virtual arrangement map to match where they sit on your desk.

5. Powering On Your Displays

⚠️ Critical: Your displays have a physical power button on the back right-hand side of each screen.

  • If the displays do not power on immediately, you must press the power button on the rear of each unit.
  • You will need to access this button whenever the displays power off, so ensure the rear of your setup is accessible, this is to prevent screen damage over time.
  • Be aware you may need to lean over or reach behind the setup to press this button.

6. Flight Sim Setup (MSFS)

Your PFD contains two physical screens. You'll need to pop out two instrument screens from the simulator and resize them to fit within your PFD frame.

Popping Out the First Screen (Left Side):

  1. Load into your aircraft in the simulator.
  2. Hold Right Alt (Alt Gr) + Left-Click on the Primary Flight Display in the virtual cockpit.
  3. A new window will appear. Click the Magnifying Glass icon (top right of that window) to convert it into a moveable window.
  4. Drag the window onto your PFD display, positioning it to fit the left screen area.

Popping Out the Second Screen (Right Side):
5. Hold Right Alt (Alt Gr) + Left-Click on the Multifunction Display (or Navigation Display) in the virtual cockpit.
6. Click the Magnifying Glass icon to make it moveable.
7. Drag the window onto your PFD display, positioning it to fit the right screen area.

Resizing Both Screens:
8. Resize and position both windows so they fit perfectly within the left and right screen frames of your PFD unit.
9. Press Alt+Enter on each window to make them full-screen once positioned and sized correctly.

Alternative — Pop-Out Manager:
For easier setup and management, use a Pop-Out Manager tool (such as MSFS Pop Out Panel Manager) to automatically arrange and resize both instrument windows to match your PFD frame layout.

Care Instructions

  • Heat: Do not leave the unit in direct sunlight or near a radiator.
  • Cleaning: Use a dry microfibre cloth only. Do not use window cleaner or harsh chemicals on the screens or plastic frame.
  • Cable Management: Ensure cables have no tension on the ports. Route cables carefully to avoid stress on connectors.
